Paul Barnes

Paul Barnes is a type designer and partner in the London and New York based type foundry, Commercial Type. He has designed numerous typefaces, both for Commercial Type and for many other prestigious clients. His interest in the modern and vernacular is encompassed in his type design ranging from the contemporary such as for Björk, through to the extensive Chiswick typeface (2017). As consultant to the Guardian, he designed Guardian Egyptian with Christian Schwartz.

Ian Cartlidge

Ian Cartlidge co-founded Cartlidge Levene in 1987. With a long track record of producing award-winning design in the areas of print, identity and environmental graphics, Cartlidge Levene are also known for their wayfinding and signage projects in the cultural sector for clients including Tate Modern, The Design Museum and V&A Dundee. Ian was made a Royal Designer for Industry in 2013, awarded in recognition of sustained design excellence.

She has an MA in Typeface Design from the University of Reading, a PhD from Leiden University, and an MSt. in International Relations from Cambridge University. She was selected to Fast Company’s 100 Most Creative People in Business and Creative Review’s Creative Leaders.

Kate Dawkins is a multi-Bafta winning designer and director who specialises in continuously pushing the boundaries in the design of live performances, shows and brand experiences, bringing them to life using unique and innovative visual storytelling with mesmerising video and projection visuals. Kate integrates appropriate technologies and processes into her work, creating emotionally resonant experiences for events such as the London 2012 Olympic Ceremonies, BBC Studios productions and Talisker immersive experiences.

Liza Enebeis

Liza is Partner and Creative Director at Studio Dumbar/DEPT®, an international agency with a Dutch heritage, specialising in visual branding and motion. In parallel to Studio Dumbar/DEPT® she is co-initiator of DEMO – Design in Motion Festival and co-founder and co-host of Typeradio.org, a podcast on type and design. She is a member of AGI – Alliance Graphique Internationale – and also on the D&AD Board of trustees – the Design and Advertising Association in the UK.

Eduardo is an internationally recognised multidisciplinary designer with more than 150 international design awards. He specialises in branding, packaging, product and editorial design. He approaches every project like a restaurant with a few tables, with a carefully crafted menu offering bespoke, unique experiences for global clients. His interest in sustainability is reflected in the longstanding consulting relationship with the Spanish Ministry for the Environment, focusing on recycling, materials and their impact on the environment.

He’s also a globally recognised and awarded creative who is passionately committed to designing a better world. Known for his typographic approach to design, Vince is an Honorary Fellow of ISTD and continues to be an international ambassador for the design industry.

Joost Grootens

Joost Grootens is a graphic designer, educator and researcher. Based in Amsterdam (NL) and Biel/Bienne (CH), his studio SJG designs books, maps, typefaces, spatial installations and digital information environments. Grootens is Professor of Artistic Research in Visual Design at the Royal Danish Academy in Copenhagen.

Eva Kellenberger is a Swiss graphic designer. She studied BA Graphic Design at Camberwell College of Arts, London, before completing an MA at the Royal College of Arts. Eva has led on recent projects including brand identities for Goldsmiths CCA, Charleston and Elephant magazine, and books for White Cube, Hauser & Wirth and Gagosian.

Felix Pfäffli

Felix Pfäffli is the founder of Studio Feixen. He has been teaching poster design, generative design, and campaign design at Fachklasse Grafik in Lucerne, Switzerland since 2011. His expertise spans graphic design, typography, animation, furniture design, and interior design. His clients range from large companies like Apple, Google, Samsung, and Nike to small local cultural institutions. Notably, he achieved the distinction of becoming the youngest member in AGI’s history. He has given lectures, organized exhibitions, workshops, and won numerous awards worldwide.

Paula Scher

Paula Scher is one of the most acclaimed graphic designers in the world. Since 1991, she has been a principal in the New York office of the distinguished international design consultancy Pentagram, where she develops brand identities, signage, packaging and publications for a wide range of clients. Her identity systems for organizations such as the Public Theater, the Museum of Modern Art, Shake Shack, Citibank, Microsoft, Tiffany & Co. and the High Line have become landmarks of modern branding.
